Tally Clerk (West Up to $2500)

Work Location: 50 International Road

Working Days: 5.5Days

Working Hours:

Mon – Fri: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Sat: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

Export Finished Good (FG) Loading (Malt Extract- IBC / Drum, SSP- Palletized in Carton):

1. Coordinate Proper Handling and Placement of Goods

• Obtain shipping advice, labels/stickers, and the loading schedule from Nestlé warehouse personnel.
• Work closely with Nestlé forklift operators and other warehouse staff to ensure accurate stock handling and to support smooth and efficient loading operations.
• Verify shipping details, including the container number and seal number, with the Sankyu Shipping Coordinator prior to loading.
• Coordinate with the shunting driver to bring the assigned loading container to the designated loading bay.

2. Perform Container Pre-check before Loading and fill in Nestle container check list - Check humidity level of floor board by provided Device- Moisture meter provided by Nestle (Trained Sensory Panellist – need to attend Container Inspection Training)

3. Install bucker & lashing before loading of container (Drum / IBC)

4. Supervise the loading of goods to shipping containers and stacking of the goods in the receiving and dispatching area.

5. Tally all goods and match them with shipping labels and packing orders to ensure the accuracy to match with outgoing shipments- Shipping Advise & Label Sticker provided by Nestle warehouse personnel.

6. Ensure that goods loaded are clean and in good condition.

7. Ensure that goods loaded into shipping containers are safely secured to prevent damages during transportation.

8. Check for damages, shortages, or discrepancies between physical items and shipping instruction provided by Nestle warehouse.

9. Report any damages or any anomalies to the Warehouse Staff & Shipping coordinator.

10. Count goods manually during loading.

11. Make appropriate remarks on the Export tally List when differences are observed between consigned and received quantities.

12. Record the Container Number, Seal Number, Container Tare weight, Destination, Date and Quantities and types of items – Batch/DR No./SSCC in Export Tally List accordance with Nestle’s instructions.

13. Capture pre-loading, loading, and complete-loading photographs in accordance with Nestle’s provided camera & instructions.

14. Submit Export Tally List & Container Inspection Check List to Nestle Staff.

15. Perform consumable items inventory checks

16. Follow safety and security procedures during loading.

17. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

18. Ensure compliance with Nestle’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Other Duties:

1. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned, including to re-stacking, repalletizing, wrapping of finished goods (FG), and re-arrangement of stocks (SSP), upon request. Such services shall be subject to the applicable fees as specified in the Contract Agreement.

2. Provide support to other logistics operations as required, including but not limited to: - Container inspection, Chassis cleanliness checks, Opening canvas for loading/unloading.

3. Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Completion of Container Inspection Training and qualification as a trained Sensory Panellist

2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording

3. Good communication and interpersonal skills

4. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

5. Capability to lift moderate weights, as required

6. Forklift Licence will be an advantage
