Technical Specialist (Assembly)

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for either mechanical / electrical / both mechanical & electrical assembly checkout of equipment modules, assemblies and sub-assemblies
• Set-up production equipment and run final integration and test
• Assemble production equipment based on manufacturing work instructions, mechanical drawings (or/and electrical wiring /wire harnessing based on circuitry blueprints and work instructions)
• Perform final test to qualify equipment performance before customer buy-off.
• Assist the Manufacturing Engineers in trouble shooting and improving on assembly efficiency to reduce cost
• Carry out good housekeeping and work safety instructions

MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher NITEC / Diploma level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read electro-mechanical drawings.
• Minimum 2 years experience in machine production / assembly environment.
• Preferably from semiconductor / general automation background.
