JOB REQUIREMENT / RESPONSIBILITIES
Role:
The Operations Trainer is responsible for conducting operational and skills training for employees to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with company procedures. The role supports workforce competency development and continuous operational improvement within the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct orientation, operational, and on-the-job training for new and existing employees.
• Train operators on work instructions, SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching to improve productivity and work quality.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and observations.
• Prepare and maintain training records, skill matrix, and competency documentation.
• Support production departments in identifying training needs and skill gaps.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, 5S practices, and safety regulations.
• Assist in developing and updating training materials, work instructions, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate cross-training activities to improve workforce flexibility.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
EDUCATION / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
KEY REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or operations training.
• Good communication and coaching skills.
• Familiar with production processes and manufacturing operations.
