Warehouse Assistant

Complete the management of goods in, out of the warehouse, storage, etc., establish an effective ledger, ensure the safety and effectiveness of inventory materials, and achieve the goal of inventory management.

Job Description

1. Receiving & Inbound Support

• Receive incoming goods, check the delivery documents, and perform an initial count of the quantities.

• Assist the IQC (Incoming Quality Control) personnel by conducting visual checks for obvious damage and verifying quantities upon receipt.

• Handle the handover procedures with the delivery personnel.

2. Material Kitting & System Management

• Pick, prepare, and issue raw materials and components according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) on production work orders.

• Accurately post material issues and inventory adjustments in the ERP system in a timely manner to maintain real-time book-to-physical consistency.

• Deliver kitted materials to the production line material handlers and complete the necessary handover documentation.

3. Storage & Inventory Management

• Plan and arrange optimal storage locations for goods and register them in the custody ledger with location numbers.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventories and submit inventory reports.

• Manage the inventory of packaging and other auxiliary materials.

4. Dispatch & Documentation

• Complete the packaging of materials and finished products securely for shipment.

• Notify sales personnel upon completion of packaging, obtain shipping details, and execute dispatch tasks.

• Prepare and submit all required shipping and commodity-related documents.

5. Production & Safety Support

• Assist the production line with auxiliary tasks such as cutting cables, printing labels, and applying heat-shrink tubing.

• Implement and uphold warehouse safety management protocols and maintain a tidy work environment.

• Perform other temporary duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Requirements
• Good working attitude

• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients/partners

• Requirement to work closely with colleagues from different countries

• Self-motivated & goal oriented

• Work in a team environment and interface with all levels within the organization

• Cultural Sensitivity

• Willing to work overtime if needed
