Welder

Job Summary

Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks by reading and interpreting drawings. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on metal structures while ensuring safety and quality standards. Maintain tools and equipment and support additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks precisely according to job specifications to meet quality standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements to guide fabrication and repair work
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on metal structures to ensure structural integrity
• Inspect welding work to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition to support efficient operations
• Adapt to additional ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate hands-on welding experience to effectively perform welding tasks
• Ability to perform welding independently to contribute to project completion
• Maintain physical fitness and apply safety practices to perform tasks safely
• Exhibit proactivity and work independently to meet work demands
• Willingness to work overtime as required to fulfill job responsibilities
