About This Role
We're looking for a Agency Producer who stays steady when things move fast.
At The Gap People (TGP), we are an award-winning social media agency that turns strategic insights into content that drives measurable results. In this hybrid role, you are the operational engine of our accounts. You will coordinate the logistics of our projects, including photo and video shoots, manage project timelines, and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our clients.
You are an agency-forward operator who understands that production logistics and client management are two sides of the same coin. You will be in client meetings, on set with clients present, and expected to represent TGP with confidence, clarity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
What You'll Be Doing
• Production Coordination (across diverse project types): Manage end-to-end logistics including but not limited to — social media content production, videography, photography, and post-production — such as scheduling, talent coordination, wardrobe, and location scouting.
• Vendor & Budget Management:Source vendors, solicit bids, and negotiate pricing to secure the best out comes and rates. You manage production budgets tightly, always keeping the agency's margins in mind.
• Account Management: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients. You handle correspondence and status updates with professionalism and speed, ensuring all communication is clear and documented with proper email records.
• Project Management: Own the timelines, track deliverables, and ensure the creative team has what they need to hit deadlines without compromising quality. You can multitask effectively and keep multiple moving parts on track simultaneously.
• Client-Facing Representation:Present updates, handle follow-up questions, and manage client expectations in the room. You land the message clearly and confidently, even when you don't have every single answer immediately at hand.
• Brand Guardianship: You internalise each client's brand guidelines and sensitivities, and apply them on the ground —flagging wardrobe choices, set details, or creative directions that don't align before they make it to the final cut.
• Production Literacy: You can speak the language of photographers, videographers, and editors — whether it's discussing frames, handles, or shot composition. You don't need to be the most technical person in the room, but you know enough to direct vendors clearly on what the agency needs from a shoot or an edit.
Who You Are
You are operationally rigorous but comfortable with ambiguity. You don't panic when a shoot schedule changes or a client asks a difficult question. You pre-empt client needs and pro-actively solve them before they happen. You can multitask under pressure and keep strict track of deadlines. You understand that in a lean agency, everyone carries their weight in the room, and you take pride in being the reliable, confident face of the agency's operations.
Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of professional experience in production, account management, or a hybrid role within an agency environment.
• Proven track record of coordinating photo/video shoots and managing external vendors, including rate negotiation.
• Familiarity with production terminology and workflows —you can brief and direct creative vendors with confidence and specificity.
• Strong client-facing experience — you must be comfortable leading meetings and managing day-to-day client relationships.
• Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written communication skills, with a habit of maintaining clear documentation and email trails.
• A solutions-oriented mindset with a high tolerance for the fast pace of social media production.
