Role Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Events & Activation Manager to support the planning and execution of tournaments, roadshows, and convention activations in Singapore.
This role is responsible for delivering outstanding player experiences through well-organised events while introducing new players to our games and increasing awareness of our product portfolio. You will work closely with retailers, judges, promoters, shopping malls, event organisers, and internal teams to ensure every event is executed to a high standard and reflects each brand’s identity.

Key Responsibilities:
Tournament Planning & Operations
Plan, organise, and execute trading card game tournaments ranging from local store events to large-scale competitive tournaments.
Develop event schedules, tournament plans, staffing requirements, and operational timelines.
Coordinate tournament logistics, including venue setup, registration, player flow, match operations, prize distribution, and overall event administration.
Work closely with judges and tournament officials to ensure events are conducted professionally and in accordance with tournament policies.
Ensure every tournament follows the relevant Brand Guidelines, delivering a player experience that reflects each brand’s identity, values, and community expectations.
Continuously review event flow and player experience, identifying opportunities to improve future tournaments while maintaining consistency with each brand.
Roadshows & Convention Management
Plan and execute roadshows, exhibitions, convention booths, and promotional events.
Coordinate all aspects of booth operations, including setup, logistics, staffing, scheduling, and daily operations.
Develop engaging visitor experiences, including: Learn-to-play demonstrations, Product showcases, Tournament side events, Interactive activities and Promotional campaigns.
Work closely with promoters to ensure they are well-trained, knowledgeable, and able to deliver an excellent visitor experience.
Ensure all booths and promotional activities comply with the relevant Brand Guidelines, presenting a consistent and high-quality brand image.
Continuously identify opportunities to maximise brand exposure, attract new players, and create memorable experiences while remaining true to each brand’s positioning and identity.
Event Planning & Coordination
Prepare event budgets, timelines, operational plans, and post-event reports.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, venues, external agencies, retailers, and event organisers.
Ensure all events are delivered safely, professionally, and on schedule.
Conduct post-event reviews after every event to evaluate successes, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to continuously enhance future tournaments, roadshows, and convention activations.
Assist in developing new event concepts and activation ideas that increase brand awareness, player engagement, and over all event quality.
Preferred Competencies & Qualifications:
3–5 years’ experience in event management, marketing, project management, or related fields.
Experience planning and executing events from concept through completion.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Comfortable managing multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience coordinating external vendors, promoters, judges, or event staff.
Able to work effectively with and coordinate teams across different countries and cultures.
Comfortable working on weekends and public holidays when events are scheduled.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Passion for tabletop gaming, trading card games, board games, esports, or hobby communities is highly preferred.
Bonus Points:
Experience organising trading card game tournaments or hobby events.
Experience working with judges, tournament organisers, or organised play programmes.
Experience planning convention booths, mall roadshows, or experiential marketing activations.
Existing relationships within Singapore’s tabletop gaming community.
Experience working with licensed entertainment brands or consumer products.
