Assistant Producer

FINDING PICTURES IS LOOKING FOR AN ASSISTANT PRODUCER 

We're looking for an organised, energetic Assistant Producer to join us! If you get a kick out of keeping things organised and love being in the middle of the action on a creative project, this could be a great fit for you.

As an assistant producer, you will:

• Oversee the entire production process from start to finish, including pre-production, storyboarding, visual development, animation production, post-production, and delivery

• Execute production management and tracking across a variety of types of animation projects (2D, 3D, hybrid, stop motion projects)

• Work closely with production team and/or freelancers to ensure work is delivered on time, at a high quality

• Create and manage production schedules and workflows

• Manpower planning and task delegation 

• Be the liaison between the client and the production team, including the submission of deliveries and processing of feedback

• Schedule and run production meetings (including onboarding briefings, pre-production meetings, after-action reviews)

• Manage the housekeeping of production assets

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with collaborators at all levels –be it clients, directors, artists, freelancers

• Archival of completed projects

Here’s what you will need to have:

• Familiarity/experience with animation pipelines (2D/3D/multimedia)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Flexibility and willingness to learn new tools and pipelines

• Great time management and multitasking ability, within reason

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate bottlenecks and come to the table with solutions

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities, while keeping calm under pressure

• A people-centric disposition 

• Responsible, proactive, and detailed-oriented

• Passion for film and animation

• Excellent decision-making abilities, knowing when to engage the right resources for solving problems
