Job Description - Brand & Corporate Communications Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Brand & Corporate Communications Manager to build Hello Group’s presence in Singapore from the ground up.

This is a high-ownership, individual contributor role — you will be the sole owner of brand and communications locally, responsible for both strategy and execution.

Your focus will be on corporate brand building, media visibility, and ecosystem presence at the group level, rather than product-level marketing. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building brand presence from scratch in a lean, regional environment, and is comfortable operating independently. 

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Brand & Regional Presence (Core Focus)

  • Build and manage Hello Group’s corporate brand presence across Singapore and key international markets

  • Develop a clear group-level narrative positioning Hello Group as a global technology company

  • Ensure consistent messaging across markets, with localisation where needed

  • Strengthen overall brand visibility, credibility, and recognition at the corporate level

Media & PR (Hands-on Execution)

  • Build and manage relationships with Singapore and regional media (tech, business, lifestyle)

  • Proactively pitch Hello Group corporate stories, not just product updates

  • Draft press releases, messaging, and external communications

  • Monitor media coverage and manage brand reputation

LinkedIn & Digital Brand

  • Own Hello Group’s LinkedIn presence — content planning, writing, and publishing

  • Develop content focused on:
    Corporate milestones
    Company positioning
    Industry insights

  • Support improvements to corporate website messaging where needed

Partnerships & Community

  • Identify and engage strategic partners and industry ecosystems across Singapore and other regional country where necessary

  • Drive collaborations that increase Hello Group’s corporate visibility and credibility

  • Support lightweight initiatives or small-scale engagements (not event-heavy)

Regional Collaboration & Corporate Positioning 

  • Work with local teams across different markets to align messaging and brand direction

  • Provide guidance and support on communications where needed

  • Ensure a consistent Hello Group narrative across regions

  • Communicate Hello Group’s global scale, financial strength, and market presence

  • Strengthen perception of Hello Group as a credible, established international company

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or brand roles

  • Proven ability to execute independently in a lean environment

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills

  • Experience working with media or external stakeholders

  • Comfortable managing regional scope from a central role

Good to Have

•       Experience at a group/holding company level with multiple brands under one umbrella

•       Familiarity with the dating app, social tech, or consumer app space

•       Chinese language proficiency (for occasional coordination with HQ in Beijing)

•       Experience coordinating brand work across markets or with regional teams

•       Basic event management or partnership activation experience

What You'll Be Working On — First 6 Months

  •  Audit and rebuild Hello Group's Singapore corporate brand presence — LinkedIn, web, media footprint

  • Establish Hello Group’s corporate brand presence across key markets

  • Build and Initiate 2–3 meaningful Singapore brand partnership conversations
