Business and Marketing Manager

JOB SCOPE

1. To promote and build the SMJ Brand in the Corporate End-User market, Project Management

Companies, as well as Architects and Design Consultancy market in Singapore.

2. To create brand awareness and value among corporate users and to establish direct contact with end

users both locally and regionally. For regional projects, you will need to work closely with the Global

Market Business Director and respective Country Managers.

3. To conduct presentations and specify SMJ carpets to your network customers, work with our local sales

team to close the deals and then pass the projects to the local team for project execution.

4. Accountable for your own sales quota.

5. Reports to Managing Director for Corporate leads and to work with Sales Director (Contracts Sales) for

Singapore projects.

6. To work with Global Market Business Director for Business development work in Singapore, that involves

overseas projects.

7. Prepare marketing materials for presentation, which can be shared with our local and regional team.

8. To assist the Management in preparation and application for all Environmental Documents required for

our products.

9. Enhance and improve the marketing presence of SMJ in the market (Architects & Design and Corporate Accounts)

10. Handle all design activities from conceptualisation to production for marketing materials, like posters/brochures, advertisement, online collaterals.

11. Daily office attendance is required for updating and preparation of documents and reports.

Requirements:

· Diploma/Degree in Relevant Business & Marketing

· Relevant job experience related to our flooring industry

· Proficient in Design and editing softwares (AutoCad, Photography, Social Media, Adobe Photoshop, etc)

· Customer service oriented and focused work attitude, with accuracy

· Adaptable and take initiatives

· Able to work as a team yet independently within time constraints

· Clientele and prospector base are required during interview of job.
