Job Description - Business Development Executive (Supermarket & Online Sales)

Business Development Executive to drive business growth through digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and retail market development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Company's e-commerce and digital channels, enhancing brand awareness, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives to drive sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Digital Channel Management

  • Manage and optimize the Company's e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other online marketplaces.
  • Maintain and update the Company website, product information, promotional content, and online campaigns.
  • Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory updates, and online merchandising activities.
  • Monitor online sales performance, website traffic, customer engagement, and marketplace performance.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and online sales.
  • Manage social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Coordinate and monitor digital campaigns, advertisements, promotional activities, and content creation.
  • Track campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across supermarket chains, retail channels, distribution networks, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with retailers, distributors, corporate customers, and marketplace partners.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify market trends to support business growth.
  • Support product launches, exhibitions, promotional events, and business development initiatives.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare regular sales, marketing, and business performance reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment, customer service, and marketing activities.
  • Provide recommendations to improve sales performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in business development, e-commerce, digital marketing, retail sales, or related fields.
  • Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, consumer products, modern trade, or retail, with hands-on experience managing supermarket accounts, retail sales channels, and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Shopee, and Lazada, will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with website management, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or digital marketing tools will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
