Job Description
The Business Development Manager will lead the Marketing and Sales team to establish steady business relationship with existing clients as well as to source for new clients and business expansion. The BDM will be also tasked to develop marketing and publicity strategies to enhance the Corporate Image of the company.
Responsibilities
Seek prospects for new sales opportunities.
Re-visit existing clients. Able to identify customer’s concerns, handle customer’s issues, and propose solutions.
Engage in technical solutions with clients. Provide status update between client and Company.
Responsible for providing periodic sales volume forecast and ensuring the achievement of given sales targets.
Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good sales follow-up.
Organize creative campaigns and promotional events that align with the company’s image and marketing strategies.
Be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product/service promotion.
Work together with the business partners to strengthen the relationship.
Execute sales plans within assigned sales territory to achieve sales goals.
Handle sales enquiries and provide good support to new and existing customers.
Actively identify new market and sales opportunities continuously.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences towards a positive conclusion.
Communicate back to the Company of the outcome of the negotiations/proposals/feedbacks focusing on conveying the expectations set by the prospects/clients.
Track and record activities on account and help to close deals to meet sales targets.
Collect data on consumers, competitors, and market industries to consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, competitions, trend, and growth. Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
Requirements & Professional Skills
At least Bachelor’s or Equivalent from a certified Institution.
Above 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Industry is an added advantage.
Good business sense and understanding about the market.
