Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the Group's business development activities in Singapore by conducting market research, providing product and technical information, supporting marketing initiatives and serving as an initial pointof contact for prospective customers.

The role focuses on gathering market intelligence, understanding customer requirements and supporting business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct market research and analyse industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities in Singapore.

·       Identify potential customers and business opportunities for industrial products and solutions.

·       Support marketing activities, exhibitions, seminars and promotional events.

·       Respond to initial customer enquiries and provide product information to prospective customers.

·       Provide technical and product explanations to customers based on product documentation and available resources.

·       Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support business development planning.

·       Prepare market research reports, customer visit reports and business activity updates.

·       Coordinate customer enquiries with the relevant business units for follow-up where necessary.

·       Maintain customer and market information records.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

·       Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.

·       Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business development, market research, technical sales support or customer engagement within the industrial or manufacturing sector.

·       Good understanding of industrial products or engineering-related solutions.

·       Experience supporting marketing activities, exhibitions or customer engagement would be an advantage.

·       Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Self-motivated and able to work independently.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
