About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven E-Commerce Marketing Supervisor (Paid Media) to lead paid media strategy and execution across Japan & Australia within our growing APJ Marketing Team. Reporting directly to the E-Commerce Marketing Lead, this role serves as a critical link between brand-building initiatives and commercial performance, driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and marketing efficiency across key APJ markets. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, hands-on media expertise, and a deep understanding of regional digital ecosystems

Key Responsibilities

1. Paid Media Strategy & Execution (40%)

  • Develop annual and campaign-specific paid media strategies aligned with key e-commerce events, including Prime Day, Mid-Year Sale, 11.11, Black Friday, and other promotional periods.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads (Search, Shopping, YouTube), and relevant local DSP/programmatic platforms.
  • Ensure consistent execution excellence and performance delivery across APJ markets.
  • Manage and collaborate with external media agencies to drive campaign effectiveness and best practices.

2. Budget Management & Performance Optimization (25%)

  • Own APJ e-commerce paid media budget planning, allocation, forecasting, and day-to-day management.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards tracking key metrics such as CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rates across markets and platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven optimization, audience segmentation, testing frameworks, and creative performance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve media efficiency and maximize return on investment.

3. Market Expertise & Localization (20%)

  • Build deep knowledge of digital media landscapes across Japan, Australia, and India, including platform preferences, consumer behavior, and regulatory considerations.
  • Partner with local and regional marketing teams to ensure campaigns and creative assets are culturally relevant and aligned with market needs.
  • Deliver regular market intelligence reports with actionable recommendations.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)

  • Work closely with Creative and Design teams to establish advertising creative best practices and ensure compliance with platform requirements.
  • Collaborate with E-Commerce Operations teams to align media activities with promotional calendars, inventory planning, and business priorties.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Data teams to improve media measurement, attribution, and reporting frameworks.

5. Agency Management & Stakeholder Engagement (5%)

  • Set clear KPIs and performance expectations for media agency partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Paid Media, Performance Marketing, or Digital Marketing.
  • Proven experience managing multi-market campaigns, preferably across APJ markets.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least two major advertising platforms, with strong preference for Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics and platform-native reporting tools.
  • Experience managing media budgets and optimizing performance against business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, home appliances, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with major e-commerce platforms across APJ markets, including Amazon and Rakuten.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with data visualization tools are advantageous.
  • Prior experience working with regional media agencies and cross-functional international teams.
