We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and organised Events and Social Media Officer to join our team! Key Responsibilities

Event Management

• Plan and execute events, workshops, and community activities end-to-end
• Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, partners, and volunteers.
• Manage event logistics including registrations, venue setup, vendor coordination, and on-site operations.
• Liaise with sponsors, partners, volunteers and vendors.
• Prepare event timelines, budgets, and post-event reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Capture photos and videos at events for promotional and reporting purposes

Social Media Management

• Create and manage content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Design basic marketing materials and social media graphics
• Film, edit, and produce videos optimised for each platform
• Monitor channels, engage with audience, and report on performance monthly
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

Community Engagement

• Support active ageing, wellness and befriending programs.
• Monitor participation rates and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Events Management, or a related discipline
• Experience in event management and social media content creation
• Ability to shoot and edit videos for multiple social media platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to speak Mandarin & local dialects is an advantage
• Team player with strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Creative eye with attention to detail
• Compassionate, ethical, and service-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when events require
