Head of Operations & Outreach

The Head of Operations &Outreach will support CSPO in managing its operational, financial, and outreach functions, working with the CSPO Executive Director, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) and relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of CSPO's operations, drive business developmentefforts, and manage marketing and communications activities, aligned to themandate of CSPO.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to raise awareness of CSPO's programmes and initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate outreach activities, events and workshops.
• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities to support CSPO's growth and sustainability.
• Represent CSPO at relevant industry events, forums, and meetings as required.
• Develop and maintain broad stakeholder relationships with key organisations including government agencies, industry companies, professional bodies, and training providers, with a focus on partnership and collaboration opportunities, to advance the CSPO's objectives.
• Assist the Executive Director in budget planning and financial management and ensure prudent use of resources.
• Monitor and track CSPO's financial performance, prepare regular operational and financial reports for the Executive Director and relevant governing bodies.
• Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and other financial administrative matters.

• Support the Executive Director and any ad-hoc duties.

Education

• Relevant qualification(s) in business administration, communications, marketing, cybersecurity, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in operations, business development, marketing communications, or a related field, with at least 5 years in managerial capacity.
• Experience in marketing communications, outreach, or public engagement.
• Experience in financial management and budget oversight.
• Experience working with or within government agencies, regulatory bodies, or professional associations would be an advantage.

• Possess good stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a focus on partnership and business development.

Additional Information

Cyber Security Professional Office (CSPO)

• Led by an Executive Director and three full-time staff, the CSPO will operationalise and administer the professional accreditation framework, with functions including strategy and planning, operations, partnerships, outreach, accreditation and standards.

Cyber Security Professional Panel (CSPP)

• The CSPP will oversee the CSPO, the accreditation process, and provide industry-relevant guidance for developing standards. Panel members are practitioner leaders from government, industry, and academia.

Expert Committees

• Support the CSPO and CSPP for specific cybersecurity specialisations (e.g. defining baseline standards for VAPT). Committee members are leading subject matter experts and may be drawn from industry and cybersecurity professional bodies.
