Marketing Assistant (E-commerce & Product Sourcing)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our e-commerce business operations and growth in the Singapore market. The role involves digital marketing activities, product research, online sales support, and product sourcing coordination with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

* Support e-commerce marketing campaigns, promotions, and online sales activities

* Manage product listings, product information updates, and promotional content

* Assist with social media content creation and customer engagement activities

* Conduct market research on Singapore customer preferences, competitors, and product trends

* Research and source products from supplier platforms such as 1688

* Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers on product specifications, pricing, stock availability, and order arrangements

* Assist with product selection, cost comparison, and inventory planning

* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth procurement processes

* Monitor product performance and support improvements to online sales activities

* Prepare marketing reports and assist with business development initiatives

Requirements

* Good written and spoken Mandarin skills to communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and support sourcing activities

* Experience with China supplier platforms such as 1688 and product sourcing processes is preferred

* Knowledge of e-commerce operations, online marketing, or digital sales platforms

* Experience in product research, supplier coordination, or procurement activities is an advantage

* Strong communication skills and attention to detail

* Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
