Marketing Manager

1. Marketing and Business Development

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Company's coal trading business and expand its customer and supplier base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, customers, suppliers and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, suppliers, mining companies, agents and other relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and monitor developments in the coal and commodity markets.

2. Coal Trading and Sales

• Manage and coordinate the marketing and sales of coal products to China and India.
• Identify, source and evaluate potential coal suppliers in Indonesia including assessing the quality, availability, pricing, supply capacity of coal, as well as pricing and commercial terms.
• Prepare and review quotations, tenders, proposals and commercial offers.

3. Market Analysis and Pricing

• Monitor coal prices, market trends, supply and demand, freight rates and other factors affecting the coal trading business.
• Provide regular market analysis, pricing recommendations and business insights to management.
• Identify market risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate commercial strategies.
• Set performance targets and monitor performance of the Company.

4. Customer and Supplier Relationship Management

• Maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers to ensure effective relationship management and business continuity.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and commercial issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct customer and supplier assessments in coordination with the relevant departments, including credit, compliance and KYC requirements.

5. Contract and Commercial Management

• Assist in the negotiation, preparation and review of sales and purchase contracts, including coal specifications, pricing mechanisms, delivery terms, payment terms and claims provisions.
• Ensure that commercial transactions are conducted in accordance with approved internal policies, applicable laws, regulations and contractual requirements.
• Monitor contractual performance and assist in managing claims, disputes and contractual deviations.

6. Reporting and Management Support

• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, marketing performance, market conditions, customer development and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, suppliers, transactions, quotations and business development activities.
• Provide management with recommendations on business development, market expansion and trading opportunities.

7. Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure that marketing and trading activities comply with the Company's policies, applicable laws and regulations, sanctions requirements, anti-money laundering requirements and other relevant compliance obligations.
• Identify and report commercial, counterparty, market, operational and reputational risks to management.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of marketing experience.
• Strong leadership, people management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
