Medical sales representative

Job Summary

Promote nutraceutical products by engaging healthcare professionals, delivering product presentations, and achieving sales targets while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Visit doctors, pharmacists, clinics, and hospitals to introduce and explain nutraceutical products , highlighting features, benefits, clinical evidence, and appropriate usage
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and provide tailored product information
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, disease areas, competitors, treatment guidelines, and new clinical studies to inform sales strategies
• Organize and conduct product demonstrations, educational meetings.
• Respond accurately to scientific and product-related questions from healthcare professionals
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to provide actionable market feedback to sales and marketing teams
• Plan and prioritize daily customer visits and manage territory efficiently to maximize sales coverage
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the company’s CRM system
• Follow Health Sciences Authority regulations and industry codes of conduct to ensure all promotional activities comply with company policies and ethical standards
• Prepare sales reports, call reports, and forecasts to track performance and support decision-making
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and coordinate with internal departments to resolve product availability or service issues

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Science, or a related field
• Sales experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare
• Good understanding of the Singapore healthcare system and nutraceutical regulations.
