Music Director (Chinese Congregation)

Key Responsibilities

1. Worship Ministry Leadership

• Plan and lead worship for weekly services in collaboration with the Worship Director and Pastoral Team
• Oversee song selection aligned with sermon themes, seasons (Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Anniversary), and congregation profile
• Ensure theological soundness, flow, and spiritual sensitivity in worship sets

2. Team Development & Pastoral Care

• Recruit, train, schedule, and disciple worship team members (musicians & vocalists)
• Conduct regular rehearsals and sectional practices
• Provide pastoral care, encouragement, and spiritual covering to worship team members
• Help resolve conflicts and build unity within the worship ministry

3. Operational & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with Technical/Media staff for sound, projection, and livestream needs
• Prepare worship-related materials (lyrics, arrangements, charts, keys) on time
• Ensure smooth transitions during services and special events

4. Special Events & Church Calendar

• Lead and coordinate worship for major events: Easter, Christmas, Camps, Anniversary, Thanksgiving, Special Services
• Support outreaches and prayer meetings where worship is required

Reporting & Collaboration

• Reports to: Congregation Lead Pastor
• Works closely with: Worship Director, Media/Tech Team, Pastoral Team
