PUBLIC RELATIONS EXECUTIVE

About the role

Chief is seeking a talented Public Relations Executive to join our dynamic team in our Kranji Showroom. This full-time role will act as a supporting role to be responsible for managing our company's public relations efforts, enhancing our brand visibility and reputation within the automotive and auto-maintenance industry.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive public relations strategies to promote the company's products, services and brand through participation and preparation of events
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers and other key stakeholders
• Drafting and distributing engaging press releases, media kits and other public relations materials
• Be the front face to organize and coordinate media events, press conferences and other public relations activities to showcase the brand
• Monitoring media coverage and online reputation, and promptly addressing any issues or concerns
• Analysing the effectiveness of public relations campaigns and providing recommendations for improvement
• Collaborating with the marketing team and vendors to ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications
• Travelling for overseas promotional events and meeting of stakeholders and media
• Other adhoc tasks as assigned by Management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a public relations or corporate communications role, preferably within the automotive industry
• Candidates with good attitude will be considered
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
• Strong interpersonal media relations and networking skills, with an established industry network
• Proficiency in using public relations and social media analytics tools to measure campaign performance
• Creativity, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Resourceful and strong problem solving skills
• Advantageous to own a driving license
• Confident and presentable outlook
