Senior Commercial Executive

Description:

• Must be able to quote on offshore fabrication works, ship repair and conversion works.
• Ability to quote on new ship-building works is an added advantage.
• Billing & settlement of invoices with client representatives for executed jobs.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
• Manage and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts, ensuring they meet both client requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company's services and capabilities.
• Report to Commercial Manager for all related works.

Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree and above (Marine qualification like a diploma in Shipping and Logistics/ Marine Engineering will be advantageous)
• Experience with at least 2 – 3 years with owner / operator broker in a commercial position within the tugs, barges, AHT domain
• Enthusiastic and having a “Go Getter “attitude for serving existing clients and bringing in newer clients
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
• Can speak and understand English
• Candidates with knowledge of spoken Malay and Mandarin shall be given preference
