Job Description - Senior Content Producer

Our Team

Cintra Consultancy is a Singapore-based business and creative consultancy that helps brands grow through strategy, content, media, and digital execution.

We work with businesses across different industries to create social media content, short-form videos, digital campaigns, brand stories, and marketing assets that support real business outcomes.

At Cintra, content is not created just to look good. It has to support the brand, communicate clearly, engage the intended audience, and help move the business forward.

Our team works in a fast-paced agency environment, managing multiple client accounts, production timelines, shoots, creative deliverables, and digital campaigns across different industries.

Your Role

Cintra Consultancy is looking for a Senior Content Producer to lead the development and execution of social-first content across our client portfolio.

You will be responsible for turning client objectives and creative briefs into strong, production-ready content concepts, and overseeing projects from ideation and pre-production through to shoots, post-production, and final delivery.

This is a hands-on role. You should be equally comfortable developing ideas, writing scripts, directing shoots, reviewing edits, managing production logistics, and solving problems when plans change.

You will work closely with the creative, account, performance marketing, and production teams to produce content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.

The ideal candidate understands both creative storytelling and commercial objectives. You should be able to create content that is engaging and culturally relevant while remaining aligned with the client’s brand, audience, and business goals.

Responsibilities

Creative Development and Content Ideation

Lead the development of content ideas, campaign concepts, video formats, hooks, scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and creative treatments.

Translate client briefs, campaign objectives, audience insights, and brand guidelines into clear and executable content concepts.

Develop social-first ideas that are suited for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Conduct ongoing research into social media trends, platform behaviours, competitor content, emerging formats, and audience interests.

Present creative ideas and production approaches clearly to internal teams and clients.

Ensure that concepts are creative, practical, commercially relevant, and achievable within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.

Pre-Production and Production Management

Own the planning and preparation of content shoots from start to finish.

Develop production schedules, shot lists, call sheets, equipment requirements, props lists, casting requirements, location plans, and other production materials.

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, talents, freelancers, vendors, locations, and other production partners.

Identify production risks, resource requirements, and potential execution issues before shoots take place.

Ensure that all necessary approvals, assets, products, equipment, props, and personnel are confirmed before production.

Manage multiple production timelines while maintaining clear communication with all relevant stakeholders.

Shoot Direction and On-Set Execution

Lead and direct content shoots, ensuring that the intended concept, story, performance, visual direction, and brand message are captured effectively.

Direct talents, presenters, creators, interview subjects, and crew members during production.

Oversee camera composition, lighting, audio, set styling, props, pacing, and overall production quality.

Ensure that all required shots, variations, cutdowns, hooks, and supplementary footage are captured efficiently.

Adapt quickly when there are changes involving locations, talent availability, client requests, weather, timing, or other production limitations.

Maintain a professional, organised, and solutions-focused environment on set.

Where required, operate cameras or support hands-on production execution.

Editing and Post-Production

Guide the post-production process from footage selection through to final delivery.

Provide editors with clear edit briefs, narrative direction, platform requirements, visual references, and intended outcomes.

Review edits for storytelling, pacing, messaging, brand alignment, technical quality, captions, graphics, music, and overall effectiveness.

Provide clear, practical, and consolidated feedback to editors.

Ensure that feedback from internal teams and clients is accurately incorporated within the agreed number of revision rounds.

Where required, undertake hands-on editing for social media content, including trimming footage, arranging sequences, adding captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and simple graphics.

Ensure final content is correctly formatted, exported, labelled, and delivered for the relevant platforms.

Client and Internal Stakeholder Management

Work closely with account managers to understand client objectives, expectations, feedback, timelines, and priorities.

Participate in client meetings, creative discussions, content planning sessions, and production briefings where required.

Explain creative and production decisions clearly and confidently.

Manage expectations around feasibility, timelines, revisions, production requirements, and creative limitations.

Ensure that client feedback is interpreted accurately without compromising the quality or intent of the work unnecessarily.

Provide regular updates on production progress, potential risks, delays, or changes in scope.

Team Leadership and Quality Control

Provide creative and production guidance to junior producers, videographers, editors, interns, freelancers, and other team members.

Delegate production responsibilities clearly and ensure that team members understand the required output.

Review work before it is presented internally or delivered to clients.

Maintain consistent production standards across different client accounts and content formats.

Support the development of production workflows, templates, checklists, asset-management systems, and internal best practices.

Identify recurring production issues and recommend practical improvements to increase quality, speed, and efficiency.

Contribute to a collaborative working environment where team members take ownership of their work and support one another during demanding production periods.

Requirements

At least 4 years of relevant experience in content production, video production, advertising, social media, digital media, or a related creative role.

Agency experience or experience managing multiple brands and projects concurrently is strongly preferred.

A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating social media content, branded videos, campaign work, short-form videos, interviews, lifestyle content, corporate content, or other relevant production work.

Strong understanding of short-form content, social media storytelling, audience retention, video hooks, platform trends, and digital content formats.

Demonstrated experience managing projects across ideation, pre-production, shoots, post-production, revisions, and final delivery.

Confident in directing talents, presenters, clients, creators, and production crew during shoots.

Good working knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio equipment, production workflows, and mobile content creation.

Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

Strong creative judgement, storytelling ability, attention to detail, and quality-control standards.

Able to balance creative ambition with client objectives, budgets, production limitations, and tight timelines.

Able to manage multiple shoots, accounts, deadlines, and stakeholders without losing track of details.

Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Reliable, organised, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of projects.

Willing to work outside standard office hours where production schedules, events, or shoots require it.

A diploma or degree in film, media, communications, advertising, design, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.

While we value all submissions, we regret that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by our team.
