The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications will lead and drive strategic communications and social media strategies for the Tripartite Alliance Limited (TAL) and its agencies (TAFEP, TADM, WSH Council and the Tripartite Collective).
This role sits at the intersection of strategic communications, digital engagement and content, with a mandate to:
Shape and strengthen TAL’s overall narrative and public positioning, and
Translate this into coherent, data-driven communications and social media strategies that improve public understanding and support business outcomes.
The role requires a candidate who can operate at both strategic and executional levels, with emphasis on setting direction, influencing stakeholders, implementing strategies and driving outcomes.
Responsibilities:
A. Primary Responsibilities (Strategic Comms & Social Media)
Strategic Communications
Work across business units to leverage communications as a strategic tool to address business challenges and improve outcomes.
Translate sensing, operational data and stakeholder insights into targeted communications strategies that influence outcomes.
Social Media Strategy & Digital Growth
Define and drive TAL’s social media strategy and roadmap, including platform positioning, content direction and governance.
Position social media as a strategic channel to shape public narratives, amplify key messages and drive engagement.
Identify opportunities to strengthen TAL’s role as an “umbrella narrative owner” across agencies’ existing digital presence.
Use performance data and audience insights to optimise content, channels and engagement strategies.
Content Development & Implementation
Conceptualise and develop of high-impact, audience-centric content across platforms and formats.
Ensure consistency in messaging, tone and narrative across all communication touchpoints.
Translate complex policy or operational content into clear, accessible and compelling narratives.
Plan and deliver integrated communications campaigns and initiatives aligned with overall strategy.
B. Supporting Responsibilities
Media& Stakeholder Engagement
Manage and respond to media queries.
Support TAL spokespersons with message development, media engagement and speaking opportunities.
Recommend and execute appropriate communications responses across media and digital platforms.
Project Management
Manage communications projects and events independently, ensuring effective execution.
Job Requirements:
Tertiary education in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related discipline.
At least 5–6 years’ experience in corporate or strategic communications, journalism, or related fields.
Minimum of 2-3 years of social media strategy development and implementation, channels/content management, assessment and evaluation of social media initiatives.
Demonstrated ability in strategic communications planning and narrative development, and social media strategy and performance-driven digital communications.
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling and audience-appropriate content.
Ability to interpret and analyse data and translate insights into actionable communications strategies.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams and influence outcomes.
Good project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.
