What does a Motion Graphics Designer do at WPP Production? 

We are looking for a skilled Motion Graphics Designer with a passion for beauty and premium consumer brands to join our post production team. In this role, you will create visually stunning motion graphics and photoreal CG product work for some of the world's most recognisable beauty and personal care brands. You will bring together exceptional design craft, 3D modelling expertise, and a keen eye for the aesthetic precision that high-end beauty advertising demands, working seamlessly alongside our compositing team to deliver world-class commercial output.

 Reporting Lines & Key Stakeholders
This role reports to the Head of Broadcast and works closely with the broader talent post production team, as well as client-side agency teams and brand stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and produce high-quality motion graphics sequences across TV commercials, digital campaigns, and in-house productions, with a strong focus on beauty and personal care categories
• Build and adapt photoreal CG product models — bottles, packaging, textures, liquids, and hero product shots — to the exacting standards required by global high-end beauty brands
• Work closely with the compositing team to deliver integrated 3D elements that sit convincingly within live action footage
• Contribute creative input during the design and development phases of projects, bringing forward ideas that elevate both concept and execution
• Build and adapt both live action and motion graphics sequences to fulfil client briefs, as well as match and amend existing masters
• Lead re-versioning of existing assets for global markets, adhering to structured workflow processes that enable quick and consistent adaptation
• Meet tight deadlines across a wide variety of simultaneous jobs while maintaining the highest standard of finish
• Stay actively informed on evolving trends in design, VFX, and software — bringing fresh thinking and new techniques to the team

Requirements 

• Minimum 4 years of professional Motion Graphics experience, working across both After Effects and Cinema 4D
• Demonstrable experience on beauty, personal care, or FMCG advertising — with a strong portfolio of high-end beauty brand work strongly advantageous
• Proven ability to build CG models that convincingly match real-life objects, with a strong portfolio of product and packaging work
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent design, typographical, and conceptual skills — with an understanding of the visual language of premium beauty advertising
• Strong experience in global social platforms
• Able to take direction while actively contributing to the creative development of projects
• Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills — comfortable working directly with producers and clients
• Methodical approach to work with the ability to multi-task across projects at different stages simultaneously
• Experience producing photoreal CG, particularly hero product shots involving liquids, glass, skin interaction, or reflective packaging
• Familiarity with global versioning workflows and localisation requirements across beauty and personal care markets
