Senior Writer – Food Industry

About the Role

Join the region’s leading authority onthe F&B industry. We are looking for a Senior Writer to producehigh-quality, insightful content for a knowledgeable B2B readership. You willbe responsible for translating complex concepts into clear, engaging editorialfor our print magazine and digital platforms, from food science andnutrition to processing technology and global regulatory trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Editorial: Research and write accurate articles for print and digital formats, focusing on food safety, ingredient innovation, and packaging materials.
• Industry Engagement: Conduct interviews with industry thought leaders, pioneers, and suppliers to bring fresh perspectives to our audience.
• Magazine Production: Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure high-quality content for the monthly print flatplan.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on industry developments, such as plant-based innovation and halal-ready deadlines, to inspire fresh editorial ideas.
• Digital Presence: Contribute to the website, newsletters, and social media to grow our digital readership.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a writer, preferably in trade, technical, or specialised publications.
• Direct experience or knowledge of magazine publication processes is a significant plus.
• Strong interest in food science, nutrition, or processing technology.
• Exceptional research and storytelling skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with digital media platforms — web, social media, and digital publications — is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
