Tech & Energy Editor

Job Description: POLITICO is seeking acreative, ambitious and enterprising editor to guide our coverage of energy andtech policy emanating from and affecting the world's most crucial techmanufacturing hubs and largest energy-consuming economies.

This editor will work across ourenergy and tech policy and politics teams, serving POLITICO Pro subscribers,newsletter readers and homepage readers.

A successful candidate will be ableto work across teams to edit and deliver coverage of the tech and energyindustries and policy developments in Asia and how they interact with policiesaffecting our core subscriber audiences in the U.S. and Europe. You'llcollaborate daily with editors in Washington, Brussels, London, Sacramento andbeyond to bring cross-continental heft to our coverage of the policies thatunderpin energy markets, supply chains, climate policies and AI infrastructuredevelopment.

What You'll Need:

●     Strong editing and writing skills, with a track record ofdelivering smart, sophisticated stories that drive the conversation

●     An ability to envision and execute a clear plan forcoverage

●     An ability to deliver on deadline and on longer-termenterprise

●     A commitment to delivering exclusive coverage forsubscribers

●     Enthusiasm for guiding reporters to do their best work

●     A desire to collaborate

●     Previous editing experience is preferred, but notrequired for candidates with deep knowledge of the subject matter
