Job Description - Undergraduate Digital Marketing Executive (FT/PT)
Commitment
Initial Contract Duration: 3 months (Part-Time) - transitional to Full time
Working Hours: Minimum 2–3 days per week, 4 hours per day.
Performance Review: At the end of the initial 3-month contract, employees will undergo a performance review. Based on performance, business needs, and mutual suitability, there may be an opportunity to transition into a Full-Time Social Media Marketing Executive role.
Should the employee decide to leave before the contract end date, a 2-week notice period must be served.
Job Description
We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Executive to support our digital marketing initiatives. This transitional role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about digital marketing and are looking to build a long-term career with us.
The role begins on a part-time basis for the first three months, allowing both the employee and the company to assess suitability. Employees who demonstrate strong performance may be offered opportunities to continue their career with us through various progression pathways.
Position Scope
The duties and responsibilities listed below constitute the primary scope of work for this role.
From time to time, additional duties may be assigned based on operational requirements. Such duties will be reasonable, relevant to the position, and aimed at supporting the employee's professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
Create engaging content for social media platforms.
Design marketing materials and promotional content.
Schedule and manage social media posts.
Monitor social media engagement and audience interactions.
Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
Support branding and promotional initiatives.
Create advertisements for events and promotional campaigns.
Manage content across platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube (Podcast), and Facebook.
Assist with photography and videography during events when required.
Be open to undertaking other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Current Polytechnic or University student, fresh graduate, or individuals with an interest in digital marketing are welcome to apply.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Creative mindset with an interest in digital marketing.
Willingness to learn about the financial services industry.
Able to commit to the minimum weekly working hours.
Must complete all four required examination papers within 3–6 months (extension may be granted where applicable).
Career Progression
This is a transitional role designed to provide a pathway into a long-term career with the organisation.
Following the initial 3-month part-time contract, employees will undergo a performance review. Based on their performance, business needs, and career aspirations, candidates may be offered one of the following pathways:
Extend as a Part-Time Social Media Marketing Executive on a renewed contract to continue gaining industry experience and developing their marketing skills.
Transition into a Full-Time Social Media Marketing Executive role, subject to satisfactory performance and organisational requirements.
Transition into a Part-Time or Full-Time Financial Advisor role upon successful completion of the required examination papers and meeting the necessary performance and licensing requirements.
This flexible career pathway allows employees to continue building a career in digital marketing, explore opportunities in financial advisory, or further develop their skills through an extended part-time arrangement.
