Video Editor

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to work on long and short formats. The editor should be expected to work with on a variety of projects, transforming footage shot by the production team into compelling visual stories based off the project specs.
This role is a full-time six month contract role with the option to convert to permanent.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of video ideation and creation
• Able to weave footages to tell a compelling story
• Implement creative notes from stakeholders and clients.
• Work closely with team members to understand requirements and communicate the intended creative vision for production.
• Organised and attentive in the editing and storage for different content
• Keep up to date with latest video marketing/ social trends

Qualifications

• Diploma in Film, Sound & Video or its equivalent.
• Is a team player
• Creative, technically inclined
• Knowledge of editing principles
• Able to work well under pressure
• Fast turnaround
• · Good understanding of social media production
• Proficient with various video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Audition, After Effects)
• Proficiency in other areas (ie, colour grading, VFX) is a plus.
