Job Scope:
- Follow MRP guidelines to issue Purchase Orders (POs) or Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers.
- Coordinate with both local and overseas suppliers to address purchase-related issues and track shipment statuses.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning activities to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and lead times.
- Manage Engineering Change (EC), maintain warehouse stock levels, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide data and reports to management. Additionally, lead teams, analyze complex issues, and recommend improvements to purchasing systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience in the MNC Manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Syspro, Baan, or related MRP and ERP systems
