- Position : Quality Assurance Technician
- Location : Gul Road (transport provided at Joo Koon, Jurong East, Woodlands, Serangoon, Bishan & Paya Lebar)
- Working hours : 5 days / Monday - Friday 8.15am-5.30pm
- Salary (Commensurate with experience): Up to $3000 Basic + Bonus + 14 days annual leave
- Duration : Permanent
- Industry : Industrial Equipment Supplier
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare & create inspection templates of rotating equipment for service team
- Gather technical data, specifications, and maintenance records for reference.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to understand the overhaul process.
- Prepare detailed and accurate technical reports outlining the overhaul procedures, findings, and recommendations.
- Include clear photographs, diagrams, and charts in reports to support documentation.
- Ensure that reports adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
- Review and edit reports for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with team members to gather necessary information and provide updates on report progress.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Any other jobs assigned.
Requirements:
- NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related field
- Experiences in metrology is highly preferred.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in using software tools for documentation, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and engineering drawing software.
- Basic knowledge to interpreting internationally accepted units of measurement.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
