Responsibilities
To liaise with consultant, client, and sub-contractors on the progress of M&E works.
To prepare method of statement, shop drawings, sample units, T&C sheets, work progress report, and other relevant documents for M&E related works.
Critical Data Center equipment design including Air Handling Units, Computer Room Air Handling Units, Cooling towers, Chillers, Sequence of Operations, Control Systems, Fire Detection/Suppression system
To coordinate with sub-contractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings and material/ samples
To coordinate, prepare, and check the technical submission for resolving of site issues and drawings issues.
Develop and keep up to date all site mechanical procedures including EOPs, SOPs, MOPs, and APs. All documentation should be consistent with current client standards.
Assist M&E Manager and PM on all M&E issues including the preparation of M&E master and T&C schedule.
Manage and arrange for M&E progress inspection (R1, Fire Audit, etc), documentation for audit, use of resources and coordination works from the beginning until completion.
Requirement:
Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination with BCA or Degree/Post Graduate (Electrical), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
M&E Engineers (LTA & Main-Con Projects)
Planning, controlling and coordinating of M&E works at construction sites.
Render support to M&E Manager/Project Manager for the successful execution of projects.
Plan, execute and supervise M&E and civil structure works; ensure timely completion of tasks.
Monitor progress, quality of workmanship, within budget and in compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations.
Attend project meetings; liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, relevant authorities and sub-contractors on M&E issues and challenges.
Ensure good document control and filing.
Coordinate and work closely with client, sub-contractors and project team to resolve all M&E drawings, site discrepancies and technical issues.
Oversee and ensure works is carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements.
Ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior(s).
Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering (Certificates must be recognized by PE Board).
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Independent, resulted-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills.
Class 3 driving license will be added advantage.
