WSHO / Safety Officer ( A1 PUBLIC LISTED CONSTRUCTION FIRM )

Job Description:

Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations. Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules;
Review, implement & manage the work place safety management system in accordance with Workplace Safety & Health Act. On-sites monitoring and conducting regular safety inspections on construction work site.  Review and maintain site’s environmental, health and safety records;
Coordinate and advise project team members on safety, health & environmental requirement;
Supervise workers in providing Environmental measures and Conducts job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls.
Requirement:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
Registered WSH Officer with MOM & also registered ECO with NEA.(Construction & building related field).
At least 3 year(s) as WSHO in the construction industry representing main contractors / large scale project

Registered Safety Officer

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of safety management systems in compliance to WSH Act. You will conduct regular site inspections. You will report to the Project Manager on safety infringements at the worksite and put forth recommendations and take corrective action warranted to maintain exemplary satey and health standards. You will work with the assistance of your safety team of WSH coordinators and supervisors at the project site. Requirements:Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and preferably Registered ECO with NEA  Preferably with 1 to 2 years of experience in a construction sector
Candidates with a Class 3 driving license will have an advantage

Site Safety Coordinators

Job Scope:
Conduct safety inspections to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements, ensuring all workers comply with MOM requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections of material tools, worksites etc
Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessment, Method of Statement, Permit to work statistics.
Supervise, ensure and attend to all documentation / permit / license related to work place, safety, health and environmental.
Conduct daily tool box meeting.
Accident investigations and updating statistics.
Conduct safety training for employees.

Requirements:
With at least 2 years relevant experience
MUST have relevant certificates in WSH
Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related
Possess Class 3 license a MUST

WSH Manager (MRT /Site Based)

Requirements:

Candidates must be registered WSHO with at least 5 years’ relevant working experience in a construction firm, including post-qualifying WSHO responsibility for MRT construction. Successful candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated,proactive, and results-oriented. Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, strong technical competence and good interpersonal skills.
