The Opportunity

Zenika Singapore is entering an important next phase of growth. The business has built strong foundations in the market and now wants to deepen its presence in selected strategic accounts, with a particular focus on the Public Sector/Government Sector.

Having established a solid foundation and track record within the Singapore Public Sector, the focus of this role is to nurture, expand, and strategically scale our existing footprint within GovTech and broader Whole-of-Government (WOG) initiatives. The opportunity is to appoint an account manager who can help Zenika grow from a respected delivery vendor into an embedded, strategic transformation partner.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Account Manager will be responsible for developing, farming, and growing Zenika’s presence across selected public sector accounts in Singapore. The core focus will be on building deep senior client relationships, identifying and shaping upstream opportunities, developing "land and expand" account plans, and working closely with Zenika’s delivery and technical teams to ensure clients experience Zenika as a high-quality, trusted partner.

Account Manager - Public Sector (Tech)

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Expansion: Lead the strategic growth of Zenika’s existing footprint within GovTech and the broader Whole-of-Government (WOG) ecosystem, transitioning our positioning from a trusted delivery vendor to an embedded transformation partner.
  • Targeted Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans focused on "land and expand" strategies. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell Zenika’s core capabilities (modern software engineering, cloud, data, AI, project…) into new work streams within existing and new accounts.
  • Complex Stakeholder Management: Map and navigate intricate public sector stakeholder matrices. Build deep, consultative relationships with both business and technology leaders, acting as the bridge between central GovTech directives and the specific operational needs of individual ministries or statutory boards.
  • Proactive Opportunity Shaping: Leverage existing successful delivery track records to proactively identify and shape upstream WOG opportunities, rather than merely responding to published tenders.
  • Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with Zenika’s technical experts, delivery leads, and consultants. Ensure that client expectations are aligned with delivery realities and use high-quality project execution as a springboard for further account growth.
  • Commercial & Procurement Leadership: Manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle within these targeted accounts, including shaping value-based proposals, navigating complex WOG procurement frameworks, and securing contract renewals and expansions.

About You

  • Extensive experience in account management within the Singapore Public Sector, with direct experience navigating GovTech and major WOG accounts.
  • A goal-oriented self-starter with a proven track record of developing consultative, value-based client relationships.
  • Highly comfortable expanding existing account and mapping out multi-layered stakeholder environments.
  • Capable of sustaining high-level conversations around digital transformation, modern engineering, and agile methodologies without needing to be a hands-on technologist.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in an entrepreneurial, practitioner-driven, and values-led culture
