Accountant (12-month contract) - Rapid Progression

The overall control of Finance functions for several entities in Singapore., keeping full set of accounts and ensuring that all accounting standards and controls are maintained whilst meeting the group reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Experience in managing a full spectrum of accounting matters, including month-end closing, management reports and various schedules for account reconciliation 
Keep full set of accounts for the Singapore entities, including finance operations such as invoicing, payments, etc.
Prepare monthly management reports for business units
Responsible for submitting annual budget and quarterly forecast to the management
Ensure proper internal controls are in place and compliance with authorization procedures
Manage treasury activities, including cashflow forecasts, working capital requirements
Liaise with corporate secretarial agents, auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations etc, for the preparation and submission of necessary regulatory returns etc.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the finance manager
 

Requirements
A relevant accounting professional qualification
At least 4 years of direct accounting experience as an Accountant  
Experience in a managing a full spectrum of accounting matters, including month-end closing of accounts 
Experience in dealing with corp sec, external auditors, tax agents, etc.
