Accountant

Your new company

Our client is a well-established organisation with a diversified portfolio across multiple business lines. They are currently looking for an Accountant to join their investment arm, offering strong exposure to investment reporting and fund-related activities.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting functions across the investment portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accounting and financial reporting for investment entities and related transactions
• Producing cash flow and investment reports for internal stakeholders
• Supporting middle office operations, including daily P&L reporting, trade reconciliations, and collateral management
• Reviewing and managing private fund documents
• Liaising with financial institutions on treasury matters (e.g. account openings, fund flows, banking transactions)
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 
  Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
  
• 
  Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, audit, or fund accounting
  
• 
  Hands-on experience with SAP is a must
  
• 
  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  
• 
  Strong communication skills and ability to present numbers to the board
