Accountant, Finance

Our esteemed client, is searching for an Accountant:

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and review financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Develop and monitor financial plans and budgets.
• Perform financial consolidation for group-level reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual financial audits.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess the financial impact of operational decisions.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business growth and improve profitability.
• Analyze financial performance to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.
• Prepare and file statutory tax returns, including corporate income tax and GST.
• Ensure full compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Design and implement internal financial controls and standard operating procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of strategic business plans.
• Conduct financial analysis for business proposals and investment opportunities.
• Provide support on finance-related matters for other business segments or departments as needed.
• Assist with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in group account consolidation, financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting is essential.
• Proficient in commonly used accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, Xero, or similar platforms).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage deadlines effectively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Sound understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Basic Up to SGD 5,000 + AWS +  VB (2 Months)
• Working Days: Monday to Friday, 8.30AM to 5.30PM
• Working Location: Newton
