Accountant (Full Set, Trading Company)(ID: 607054) - Urgent Hiring

Creating financial reports like profit and loss statements and balance sheets, etc. Presenting data to managers, IRAS and other entities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Financial record keeping: Maintain proper books of accounts, recording all financial transactions accurately and in accordance with accounting principles and regulations. (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
• Financial statement preparation: Prepare periodic financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Tax compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Financial analysis: Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Internal controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, responsible for company’s cash flow and liaise with banks.
• Audit support: Assist internal audit and external auditors in the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions and practices.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accountancy or possess a Professional qualification e.g. ACCA
• At least 2 years related industry or accounting firm experience.
• Be skillful in SAP.
• Able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Bilingual in both English & Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparties.
