As an accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with the regulations. Your duties include but are not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
- To manage and maintain the full set of accounts and assist in preparation of reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, group policies and other regulatory requirements
- Recommend and implement process improvements to achieve higher productivity and strong internal control
- Support annual statutory and internal audit process
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, company secretaries, tax agents and government bodies when necessary
Job Requirements:
- A recognized Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent with at least 5 years of working relevant experience in the related field
- Independent self-starter, meticulous and sharp with details
- Strong business/finance acumen with strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proven skills to work in a team and an environment requiring flexibility and quick response.
- Positive attitude, proven ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Experience in audit and ERP systems are desired
- Applicants should be Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents
