Position Overview:

As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including monthly entries, reconciliations, tax filings, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong analytical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Monthly Accounting Entries: Accurately and efficiently record monthly accounting entries in compliance with established procedures and standards.

Conduct Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations between internal data and third-party statements to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Generate and Manage Schedules and Invoices: Create and maintain schedules and invoices as needed to support financial reporting and analysis.

Prepare Quarterly GST Filings: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of quarterly GST filings in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Prepare Monthly MAS Reporting Forms: Compile and complete monthly MAS reporting forms in adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines.

Undertake Filing Duties: Manage and organize financial documents and records, including filing duties to maintain a well-organized finance department.

Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with any other assigned ad hoc tasks or projects to support the overall objectives of the finance department.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

· Experience with general ledger functions and full sets of accounting.

· Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

· Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

· Preferably, have the ability to interpret Chinese and Japanese characters.

· Experience in auditing is advantageous.
