Accountant / Senior Accountant

ESR Group is looking for a dedicated Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing timely financial insights to support business decisions. This position is ideal for someone with strong accounting skills and a passion for achieving excellence in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Perform month-end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Conduct account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and assist in decision making.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
• Participate in audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Assist with any ad-hoc financial projects or reports as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Holder of a professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for those with experience in multinational firms or property sectors.

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Yardi) is a plus.
• Experience in the property or real estate industry.
