Accountant / Senior Accountant (AR & GL) - Get Hired Fast

JOB SCOPE

• Ensure preparation of timely and accurate monthly and yearly accounts 
• Responsible for AR billing review and prepare schedule for revenue recognition
• Review of monthly bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedules. 
• Prepare of GST revenue reconciliation 
• Prepare draft corporate tax and deferred tax computation
• Assist to prepare annual financial budgeting and quarterly forecasting
• Handle AR monthly financial analysis on P&L and balance sheet to Finance Manager  
• Assist in enhancement of the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures
• Monthly reporting deadlines to Finance Manager 
• Work closely with school AR billing team and HQ AP Finance
• Liaise with banker, external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary where appropriate    
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

PROFILE OF COMPETENCY

• Hands on experience for keeping full set accounts for the education sector will be advantageous
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications especially in Excel; Knowledge of ACCPAC is a MUST
• Knowledge of corporate tax and deferred tax computation
• Team players, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive working attitude and strong sense of responsibility
