Accountant – Up to $4,500 – Near Bugis MRT! - Room for Advancement

• Position : Accountant – Up to $4,500 – Near Bugis MRT
• Location : Beach Road - Near Bugis MRT
• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 9.00AM to 5.45PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave
• Duration : Perm
• Industry : Tyres

Responsibilities:

• Validate and process vendor invoices on a timely basis
• Review accounts payable entries and recurring GL entries to ensure that they are coded to the proper cost center or GL accounts
• Prepare and perform various journal entries to maintain the account books if necessary.
• Assist with month end / reporting processes, such as balance sheet reconciliations
• Extract invoices from system and reconcile cash receipts
• Assist in internal and external audit requests and requirements.
• Support on new processes and system implementation when required.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with audit experience is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experienced in Oracle R12 preferred
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
• Willing to work flexible hours at times to liaise or attend meetings with US team
