Accountant/Finance Executive

We are seeking an Accountant / Finance Executive to support financial operations across multiple outlets. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience within the F&B or hospitality industry, and the ability to manage full-spectrum finance responsibilities including reporting, compliance, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and approve Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, staff claims, and payment vouchers in line with company policies.
• Maintain proper accounting records, including outlet sales reconciliation and expense monitoring.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities such as journal postings, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports, management accounts, and statutory statements in compliance with SFRS.
• Manage GST filings, corporate tax calculations, and deferred tax reporting while ensuring IRAS compliance.
• Track cash flow movements, monitor bank balances, and manage intercompany transactions and forecasting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies on audit and compliance matters.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises, providing variance analysis and cost optimisation insights.
• Review profit and loss reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the enhancement of internal controls, financial processes, and system upgrades.
• Work closely with operations and HR teams on payroll checks, inventory reporting, and finance-related tasks.
• Provide additional financial analysis and reporting as required by management.

Requirements:

• CA or CPA certification is an advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the F&B or hospitality sector.
• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards (SFRS), GST, corporate tax, and IRAS requirements.
• Experience managing accounts for multiple outlets or group structures is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with F&B cost management, POS systems, and outlet-level financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting systems such as Xero, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar, as well as Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Independent worker with strong collaboration skills across departments.
