Accounting & Finance Executive / Senior Executive

Maritime Industry, Loans from Banks (Project Finance), Dealing with Bank / Lenders

Job Purpose
• Accounting and Financial Management related to Business Development operations.
• Project support including but not limited to: profitability evaluation and financial assessment
• Could be involved in other Business Development projects as support

Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Management
 Prepare management accounts for Business Development activities, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow management
 Preparation & Review of Annual Budget
 Actual vs Budget analysis of business development activities
 Responsible for management of the loans from Banks (project finance)/Shareholders.
 Dealing with Financial group company / Bank / Lenders.
 Assist in Financial arrangement and documentation
 To ensure all necessary payments such as Opex, Management fee and Loan repayments are made in a timely manner
 Contractual requirement managements (Facility agreement, Shareholders Agreement, Management Agreement etc, depends on the nature of the project)
 Verify invoices and cooperate with accounting team to ensure timely payment
 Correspondence with other stakeholders
 Review work practices and procedures for better operational efficiency
 Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior and Management

Project Support
 Verify the accounting method and for each project with accounting team and auditor
 Verify the taxation matters for each project with accounting team and tax consultant
 Assist in project profitability evaluation and financial assessment
 Assist in accounting and financial management for projects in various countries of Southeast Asia and Oceania.
 Any other adhoc duties as assigned
 

Job Requirement

• Diploma related to accountancy, business management or finance
• At least 3 years of Accounting/ Finance experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks // projects by oneself
• Numerically astute and comfortable reporting large numbers to management (USD$ millions)
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good time management skills, able to multi-task and meet the deadlines
• Able to work independently as well as within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, word)
