Accounting Executive (Full Set) - Exciting Challenge

The Accounting & Finance team is the backbone of the organisation, facilitating the practical budgeting, risk analysis, spending and financial record-keeping for all arms of the business. As an Accounting Executive (Full Set), you will serve as the bookkeeper of the organisation’s day-to-day financial records involving all transactions involving our partners and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Run daily accounting operations for assigned brand, including accounts payable, receivable, payments, collections and preparing general ledgers up to month-end closing
• Review all invoices from and to suppliers, inter-company and staff claims, ensuring each and every transaction is recorded in the accounting system (Xero & QuickBooks) in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established payment approval authorisation workflow and process payment when due
• Reconcile vendor billing statements and correcting discrepancies
• Maintain filing and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Prepare relevant operational financial reports (balance sheets, income and cashflow statements), submission of relevant GST and income tax returns
• Respond to vendor and/or management inquiries

Qualifications

• A diploma in accountancy or finance related studies
• Prior experience in handling full sets of accounts and/or in the retail or hospitality industry is a plus
• Ability to manage high-volume workload efficiently and effectively
• Keen eye for detail, ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Enjoy being in a ever-changing, fast-paced hospitality scene
