Accounting & Finance Manager (Japanese Speaking)

Our client, a Japanese company that provides IT solutions and consulting is looking for a competent Finance Manager to join their team in the local office.

Job Description:

• Manage full set of accounts, supervise financial reporting, and perform financial analysis processes
• Oversee financial planning, credit line management, cash flow management, and compliance
• Review financial statements and analyze financial data
• Oversee bookkeeping accounts by outsourced accountants and assist in annual audit
• Perform Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly Reporting to HQ in Japan for Consolidated accounting
• Manage the preparation of the company's budget
• Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
• Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
• Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management
• Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets
• Manage/support outsourced functions:
  ➤Corporate tax confirmation support (Tax calculation by outsourced accountants)
  ➤Income tax confirmation support (Tax calculation by outsourced accountants)

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent business experience with strong accounting skills
• Extensive Accounting & Financial Management experience with a minimum of 5 years and above
• Knowledge and experience of income tax is an advantage
• Prior experience in group consolidation and financial reporting is preferred
• Strong fluency in Japanese is essential for effective communication during monthly closing procedures with HQ accountants
