Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Analyze variances and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend and implement improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.
- Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software. Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and legal, to support business initiatives and resolve financial issues.
Requirement
- at least 2 years' experience in Senior Managerial role related to Finance and Accounting.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA & CPA.
- at least a Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or professional accounting qualifications
- Passionate in leading and managing a team of above 5 Junior Execs to meet department KPIs
- High level of integrity and sense of responsibility with commitment to good governance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
