1) Handle day to day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities, this includes and but limited to:
- Perform three-way matching of AP and follow up outstanding matters
- Process suppliers’ invoices and ensure accuracy in data entry
- Prepare payments and ensure completeness in processing the payments and posting the entries
- Reconcile suppliers’ statement of account (SOA)
- Perform three-way matching of AR and follow up outstanding matters
- Prepare billings and SOA to customer
- Monitor receipts from customers and follow up on collections
- Assist in month-end closing and ensure timeline is met
2) Update cashbook daily and ensure the balances tallied and reconciled to bank record
3) Preform administration works in Finance Department and ensure is done in a timely and systematic manner i.e. filling / archiving / mailing etc
4) Any other assignments assigned by superior(s)
Requirements
- Min Certificate in Accountancy or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word and Excel)
- Organized, meticulous, and comfortable with data entries and administration duties
- Responsible and positive working attitude
- Opportunity to learn full set of accounts
