ACMV Engineer (Commercial Workplace Projects)

About the Company

Our client is an established workplace design & build consultancy with an award-winning portfolio of commercial office projects across Singapore and the region.

As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an ACMV Engineer to support the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning systems for modern workplace environments.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with practical design solutions while working alongside multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ACMV system designs and technical drawings for commercial workplace projects.
• Perform cooling load calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection.
• Prepare ACMV layouts, ducting, piping, and equipment coordination drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate closely with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of ACMV systems.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical support throughout project execution.
• Ensure all designs comply with local codes, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
• Support tender submissions through technical documentation and design presentations.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues to ensure timely project delivery.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant ACMV experience, preferably in commercial office fit-out or interior construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV design principles, cooling load calculations, and equipment selection.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with Singapore building regulations and ACMV design standards.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
